Raritan Bay Fishing at its Best
“Raritan Bay Anglers Club” is a non-profit organization for fishing enthusiasts in the Raritan Bay and Sandy Hook Bay areas. Club activities such as our Annual Charity Fluke Tournament support local charities plus organizations that protect our marine environment. The club also sponsors the Perth Amboy “Annual Children’s Fishing Derby.” The club has doled out more than $20,000 over the years to various charities and organizations. The Raritan Bay Anglers Club meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Loyal Order of Moose, 989 Convery Blvd., Perth Amboy, NJ Socializing at 7:30 PM with meeting time starting at 8 PM.

A 200,000 square-foot Bass Pro Shops store is planned to open in 2015 on land where National Lead Industries used to manufacture paint pigments. The store will sit next to the southern part of the Garden State Parkway's Driscoll Bridge. (O'Neill Properties Group) The mall will be part of Luxury Point, which the developers have described as a $2 billion project that eventually will have 2,000 apartments and townhomes, office space, hotels, restaurants and two marinas along the Raritan River waterfront.
